Diesel Cards
A few years ago I worked for a surveying company that took on projects all around the country. We were issued with company vans that ran on diesel and we could clock up 40,000 miles a year with ease. Regular trips to service stations to fill up with fuel became common working activities. The company I worked for gave us Diesel Cards but they were only for Esso service stations so we always had to scrabble around trying to find a local station in the town that we were working in. It would have been much easier if we had Roadstar Diesel Cards because they are accepted at 4,000 stations around the UK. This makes life much easier for company vehicle drivers that need to make regular fuel stops. With the multi brand cards, fill ups are fine, as you have plenty more stations to choose from. Not only this, the cards can be set up so that ddirect debits can be paid with 28 days interest free credit available on certain card types. Full details of every transaction are printed on invoices so it makes admin work much easier back in the office. I`d have much rather used one of the Roadstar Diesel Cards when I used to work away from home.

Grab Hire Lorry
There`s new works under way near our local railway station and each day I pass a fleet of tipper grab trucks that are hard at work. It seems that the work is being carried out in preparation for the extension of the Metrolink system that runs throughout Greater Manchester. Seeing the operatives of the tipper grab trucks at work is like watching poetry in motion. They are obviously vastly experienced with this type of machinery and make each manoeuvre seem extremely easy. On most contracts a Grab Hire Lorry will be involveed with firms being brought in who specialise is supplying these types of vehicles. On smaller types of projects just one Grab Hire Lorry will be required yet on others a fleet of these fine vehicles will be used. The picture that might spring to mind when you think of tipper trucks is smoking old diesels that are way past their prime. However this would be wrong because the modern versions run with Euro 4 engines that cut down on harmful emissions. I think it`s fair to say that a Grab Hire Lorry can make a massive difference to a construction site as it can shift muck in hardly anytime.

Car Tints London
Is it me or does there seem to be more cars driving around with their windows tinted today? There was a time, going back a number of years, when you bought film that could tint the windows on your car but then again, the end results looked pretty ter

Vehicle Tracking
Wouldn`t it be nice to know where all of your courier vans are at any given time? Sure, you can ring individual drivers and they`ll tell you which customer they are heading to next but wouldn`t it be marvelous to be able to track each one individually and have more control over their movements? Have a real time GPS Vehicle Tracking system fitted to your vehicles and you`ll have instant access to this information. A growing number of fleet owners are fitting Vehicle Tracking to their cars, vans and trucks and they are reaping the rewards of this technology. When clients ring up you can tell them how far their deliveries are away and should one require a collection you can quickly pinpoint which driver is the closest to them. Performance figures can be analyse with Vehicle Tracking systems and you`ll know how many miles your fleet are covering to carry out their duties. When customers ring up asking what time a delivery was made to a site you can tell them the exact time. What`s more, if drivers are claiming overtime when they haven`t been entitled to you can quickly tell if vehicles have been where they should at any given time.
